NS12PF Groundswitch

The DataMotionTM Groundswitch range is based on the versatile, rugged NS12P Groundswitch. This upgraded NS12PF version also provides two fiber optic connections. Housed in a durable, roadproof 1U-high rackmount case, it provides 12 channels (12 input / 12 output) of Ethernet switching with Power over Ethernet for the most demanding applications.

Powerful features to ensure fast and accurate set-up include auto crossover, auto polarity and auto negotiation, with LED indicators to show the status of link, 10/100 Mb, activity and PoE. All of these functions as well as temperature feedback and cable integrity can be accessed and controlled remotely over the network. The unit is auto-power sensing for ease of use on the road.

The NS12PF Groundswitch is a 12 input / 12 output Ethernet Switch base station, with 2 fiber optic connection and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The unit is housed in a rugged 1U-high 19" rackmount case, fitted with Neutrick EtherCon/RJ45 connectors for optimum reliability.

When the fiber optic ports of multiple NS12PF Groundswitches are connected together, these will automatically engage a Redundant Fiber Optic Link. This acts as a fast recovery system in case a connector is unplugged or a cable is damaged. Within microseconds all communication will be rerouted, without any loss of signal.
